THE BOSTON POST, July 18, 1941 A two line, one column head on pg. 13 reads: "DiMaggio's Hit Streak Stops" & subhead: "Yankees Edge Indians Before 67, 468 Fans".
The report reads in part: "...Joe DiMaggio's hitting streak was snapped at 56 straight games..." with further mention that "...DiMaggio's streak...might have been extended but for some sharp fielding by Ken Keltner, Cleveland third baseman...".
Included is the box score with the usual statistics. Complete issue in good condition.
