September 26, 1776
THE PENNSYLVANIA EVENING POST, Philadelphia, Sept. 26, 1776

* Philadelphia Revolutionary War original
* Indians & boundries

Page 2 has lengthy discussion headed: "Extracts from the Minutes of the Convention" concerning Indian troubles and problems with the boundaries of Penna. & Virginia. Page 3 contains a report from Williamsburg, less than 3 weeks before the Declaration of Independence, concerning the boundary disputes between Penna. & Virginia. The bkpg. contains a report from "Congress" concerning the pay of various soldiers in the Penna. militia (see photo). Other items as well, including several ads. This is a great opportunity for a 1776 dated newspaper, from Philadelphia, in nice condition at a reasonable price. Some light browning, mostly good. Four pages measuring about 8 by 10 inches.
