THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, May 22, 1770. Most of page 2 is taken up with a lengthy report from England concerning the affairs in America, with a list of 17 Resolves made concerning the colonial troubles as related to taxes and duties, etc. (see the photos). A wealth of interesting and historic reading on events which would lead to the Revolutionary War. The rest of the issue is taken up with various news of the day and many ads as well. Complete in 8 pages, various wear & some staining to the front page with the pages inside being rather nice. Measures about 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches.
