EMANCIPATOR AND FREE AMERICAN, Boston, September 29, 1842. A pg. 2 endorsement supports the Birney-Morris ticket, the Liberty Party candidates for President and Vice President. Includes a woodcut of a cedar tree and the names of other Liberty Party candidates. Ironically, the bkpg. has an ad placed by Birney offering his services as a land agent in Saginaw County, Michigan. Nice to have in this uncommon anti-slavery title. Subscribers name above the masthead, occasional foxing, otherwise in good condition.
