December 06, 1774
THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, December 6, 1774

* Pre Revolutionary War tensions
* Trouble brewing in the American Colonies

The entire front page is taken up with a review of a pamphlet titled: "The Interest of the Merchants and Manufacturers of Great Britain in the present Contest with the Colonies stated & considered",

which begins with: "This writer begins with shewing the great obligations the colonists have been under to Great Britain from their first settlement in America to the present time on account of the advantages, privileges, indulgencies and protection constantly afforded them by the parent state...".

Also reported on an inside page are items from Charleston, South Carolina concerning trouble with the Creek, Cherokee, Delaware, Chactaw, and Shawnese Indians there.

Complete in 8 pages, just a bit of light rubbing having no effect on readability. Measures about 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches.
