INDEPENDENT CHRONICLE: AND THE UNIVERSAL ADVERTISER, Boston, Nov. 17, 1796  This title has one of the  nicest mastheads featuring decorative lettering and an embellished woodcut of an Indian holding a bow and arrow.
A page 3 report has the dates for a day of Public Thanksgiving in Rhode Island and Connecticut. Other new sof the day: "Army Of Italy" "Battle Of St. George's" "Jefferson and Adams" and more. Several interesting advertisements as well. Traces of very lite foxing.
