June 23, 1893
THE SALEM EVENING NEWS, Massachusetts, June 23, 1893 The front page contains a very nice advertisement for Coca-Cola, using the Coke tradmark lettering, and noting: "The Brain and Nerve Drink--Cures Headache". This would be one of the very earliest newspaper ads for Coca-Cola to be had in a northern newspaper. The ad measures about 2 by 2 inches. You get the complete 8 page newspaper with a wide variety of news of the day, and a wealth of other ads as well. Lightly browned throughout, generally in very nice, clean condition.
