Page 2 has a Public Notice issued by the Secretary of State, announcing that ...the amendment proposed during the last session of Congress, to the Constitution... respecting the manner of voting for President and Vice-President...has been ratified by three-fourths of the several states...and has hereby...become part of the Constitution..., signed in type: James Madison. This amendment provided for separate electoral ballots for electing the president and vice-president. Other news of the day with advertisements. Occasional foxing, otherwise in good condition.
