DUNLAPS AMERICAN DAILY ADVERTISER, Philadelphia, July 14, 1791  A page 2 report from Worcester says that a skillful surveyor from Philadelphia named Capt. Hill has been employed: "...to examine the waters between Springfield and Boston...to judge the practicality of uniting them in a canal..."
Page 3 has a reward ad for a runaway "Negro Man, named Wil",l and the back page has one for a runaway "Negro Man, named Jack".
