An historic issue on the flight of Amelia Earhart when she went missing, with a 3 line, 3 column heads:
* "MISS EARHART FORCED DOWN AT SEA, HOWLAND ISLE FEARS; COAST GUARD BEGINS SEARCH" with varus subheads as well, including: "Fuel Had Run Low" "Fliers Were Near Goal When Last Reported but Saw No Land" and more (see photos).
Also included is a front page map captioned: "Route of Earhart Plane In Pacific" with further particulars (see photos). This reporting carries over to pg. 3 where there are 3 photos as well.
The complete 32 pg. issue in very nice, clean condition.
