This 4 page newspaper has news of the day with several interesting advertisements. On page 2 under "Admission of Nebraska" is a report stating: "The President has issued a proclamation declaring that the fundamental conditions imposed by Congress on Nebraska have been satisfied and accepted, and the admission of said State into the Union is now completed."
With newspapers West of the Mississippi being very rare prior to 1900, here is an opportunity to get a issue from the old West back when cowboys, Indians, saloons, gold miners & gunfights were often seen on a regular basis. Early for California.
There is an archival mend to two minor tears on the second leaf, otherwise in nice condition.
