The companion article headed "Edison's Latest Electric Light" explains this new and improved lamp which used a new form of carbon referred to as the "horseshoe" form of the carbon.
A very nice, graphic item on Thomas Edison & perhaps his most famous invention.
The illustration measures 8 by 6 inches. The front page has 3 illustrations: "The Merchants Telephone Exchange New York City", and a report: "The Telephone Central Office System".
Great to have this report and illustration about this important development in the electric light in this scientific periodical.
