THE NEW YORK TIMES, July 5, 1939 This newspaper is one of the most desired by baseball collectors everywhere, as it gives excellent coverage to the "tribute to Gehrig" day at Yankee Stadium. Beginning on the front page with over half a column of text, and with the heads including: "Calls Himself 'Luckiest Man Alive' ", the coverage carries over to the sports section where there is much more text and several very nice photos as seen below.

And most desirable to have this great content in a New York newspaper!
