August 14, 1945
THE HARTFORD COURANT, Connecticut, August 14, 1945 This issue features the bold banner headline: "JAPS QUIT SAYS RADIO" with smaller headline "Reds Lunge Toward Arsenal City of Harbin". This also features a photo of a Japanese prisoner, one of the soldiers discovered in the hold of the Japanese hospital ship.
This is the front section only of the issue, with slight staining at the upper right corner and a small tear at the central fold at the right margin, otherwise in good condition. See photos for details.
