November 21, 1780

THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, November 21, 1780  The back page has a paragraph which reads: "In General Arnold's letter to Lord George Germaine, which, it is said, will find its way to the public, he expressly says that Congress would not be able to stand their ground half an hour if his Lordship would publicly & under authority declare to America the terms that would be given to all the Colonies. Sir Henry Clinton advises the same thing; and it is confidently said that a declaration will be issued accordingly."
Much other news of the day including much from the "House of Commons". Eight pages, never bound nor trimmed, 9 by 12 in. Very nice, clean condition.
