* 1st report on the front page 

Column heads at the top of the front page report the death of one of the more notorious outlaws of the gangster era, with: " 'BABY FACE' SLAIN" "The Body of 'Public Enemy No. 1' is Found in Niles Center, Ill." "Dies Of Battle Wounds" "The Bullets of Federal Men Whom He Slew Yesterday Prove Fatal" "The Dead Desperado, Clad Only in Undergarments, in a Ditch at Roadside" "Riddled With Bullets" "He Had Been Shot Twice in Chest, Five Times Each in Legs and Stomach"  with the report taking most of the column.

Also on the front page are: "Kansas Bank Is Robbed" and "Cowley A Bandit Nemesis--Death of Dillinger & Floyd Largely Due to His Work". Some reports carry over to page 2.

Complete in 16 pages, tiny binding holes at the blank spine margin, good condition.
