This quite large foldout is a great panoramic view of Virginia City, with the caption reading: "Nevada--The Source of Our Silver Wealth--Panoramic View of Virginia City, Showing the Great Bonanza Mines on the Comstock Lode, Including the Consolidated Virginia, The California, The Ophir, the Gould & Curry, the Hale & Norcross, The Savage, Etc.".
An excellent opportunity for a great view of this legendary city of the Old West, from during its mining hay-day. Folds out to measure 15 by 47 inches, irregular at the top with some loss but affecting only the sky in the print not remotely close to the image of the town, several folds & creases. Some archival repairs to the left side of the print where once partially separated deters very little. A great and rare display item.
