THE DETROIT NEWS, Detroit, Michigan, January 31, 1962 The front page has a bold banner headline: "Death At The Circus" with one of the subheads reading: "2 Killed In Fall Off High Wire". There is a large front page photo showing on the ground the 3 who fell while members of the renowned Wallenda family were performing their human pyramid on the high wire, in which two died. An inside page has almost a full page of various photos of the tragedy while it was happening (see photos). Detroit was where it happened.
Other news, sports and advertisements are within this complete issue with all 6 sections and in very nice condition. A library stamp in the masthead.
