* Discovery of Penicillin made public for 1st time

Somewhat buried on page 23 is an extremely significant report in the field of medicine, with one column heads: " 'Giant' Germicide Yielded By Mold" "New Non-Toxic Drug Said to Be the Most Powerful Germ Killer Ever Discovered" "Tried On Human Beings" with various details on its discovery & cultivation. Included in the report is: "...The new substance, not yet available in pure form, is known as penicillin, after the family of molds known as penicillium..." (see).
Complete in 44 pages, good condition..
