THE PENNSYLVANIA JOURNAL & THE WEEKLY ADVERTISER, Philadelphia, May 9, 1771 See the photo for the terrific & large engraving in the masthead, making this a very displayable colonial newspaper. Pages 1 and 2 are taken up with European reports, with a few brief references to America. Page 3 has and address to John Penn, Lieut. Governor of Pennsylvania, followed by a: "Proclamation" (see photos).
Four pages, some very light foxing & a bit of page 2 dirtiness, generally very nice condition.
