June 12, 1933

THE TIMES-PICAYUNE, New Orleans, Louisiana, June 12, 1933

* Early Clyde Barrow Gang
* Bonnie & Clyde

This 24 page newspaper has one column headlines on the front page: "DESPERADOES TIE KIDNAPPED TEXAS OFFICERS TO TREE" and "Machine-Gunning Motorists Escape With Injured woman Companion". See photos for early coverage on the exploits of Clyde Barrow. Through research, Bonnie Parker had severe burns around this time, so I assume this is her they are talking about in the article. Great to have this on the front page and in a Louisiana paper.

Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Light browning, a little spine wear, otherwise good condition.
