This issue is loaded with advertisements and Civil War reports throughout from the day it was first reported which includes the following FRONT PAGE Map: "Burnside's Operations On The North Carolina Coast" Also another map on the front page: "Map of the Town of Newbern, Giving na Outline of the Place, and Showing its Location at the Junction of the Trent and Neuse Rivers". The back page contains 3 illustrations of the Stevens Battery.
