The waters of the Sacramento & San Joaquin were steadily falling...about 15,000 foreigners & Americans were scratching gravel in the dry diggins..." with more.
Page 3 has: "Discouraging News from a Massachusetts Company (see photos), and "Overland Californians" and "California Items" (see photos).
