The front page has one column headlines: "JOHN T. SCOPES FOUND GUILTY IN DAYTON COURT", "Verdict At Noon today Brought End to Sensational Trial; Was Directed By Court" and "Bryan's Testimony Taken From Record". See photos for 1st report coverage on the guilty verdict in the Scopes Monkey Trial in Dayton, Tennessee. This very famous trial involved high school science teacher, John Scopes, who was accused of violating Tennessee's Butler Act which made it unlawful to teach evolution.

Other news of the day. Light browning, a little margin wear, otherwise in good condition. Should be handled with care.
