The top of page 3 has: "By the President Of The United States of America -- A PROCLAMATION" concerning a blockade of ships, etc. (see). This is followed by a report from Milledgville, Georgia, concerning battles with the Indians. Also an item: "From Plattsburgh" concerning the War of 1812 (see). The front page has "A Proclamation" offering pardon to those soldiers who deserted the army should they: "...become sensible of their offences & are desirous of returning to their duty..." signed in type by the President: James Madison (see).
Fours pages, some discrete archival mends inside do not deter readability, generally nice condition.
