The first three columns of the back page, set in unusually wide two column format, is an exceedingly early & rare printing of "The Raven", the poem which made Edgar Allan Poe famous in his lifetime. The poem was published in January of 1845, first appearing in "The New York Evening Mirror" just 6 days prior to this publication. Poe was working for the Mirror at the time. This poem is noted by many as being one of the most famous poems ever written.
Complete in 8 pages, minor foxing, generally nice condition.
