THE TIMES, London, July 5, 1837
* William IV of the United Kingdom
All columns on all 8 page are black bordered for the death of King William IV of England, who died on June 20, 1837. It would be his niece who would take up the throne: Queen Victoria. Page 5 has: "His Late Majesty" and "Ceremonial For the Interment of His Late Most Sacred Majesty King William IV..."with many particulars on the funeral including an engraving of the coffin (see).
Eight pages, 2 stab slits near the spine, nice condition. Great to have this report in this venerable British newspaper.
