Most of the first column of page 2 is taken up with the third of the four Alien & Sedition Acts (see hyperlink for details) titled: "An Act Respecting Alien Enemies" which is signed in script type by the President: John Adams. Page 2 also has an address of the students of Dickinson College in Carlisle to the President, with his response signed: John Adams.
The front page contains "An Act" of Congress which takes the entire first column, signed in type: John Adams and Th. Jefferson (see). Also an: "Address of the Cincinnati of New Jersey to John Adams" with his reply signed: John Adams, followed by another letter to the "...Young Men of Newark, in N. Jersey" signed: John Adams.
