THE SPRINGFIELD DAILY REPUBLICAN, Springfield, Massachusetts, September 2, 1913  Page 3 contains a report "Genius of Thomas A. Edison" with subhead "William H Meadowcroft, for 30 Years His Close Associate, Visits Springfield and Tells of the 'Wizard' Inventor". This report tells of his capacity of long hours of hard work. Even though he was notedly hard of hearing, he could detect unusual other sounds and he used this ability to perfect recording technics.
The front page has a report on proceedings pertaining to the trial of Harry K. Thaw, son of a coal and railroad baron. He was charged with killing the lover of his wife at Madison Square Gardens in 1906. The trial was to determine his mental stability.
Also on the front page is "Daring Feat of Aviation", "Aeroplane Stability Tested", "Frenchman Flies Upside Down", "Gigantic Letter S Described Vertically in Midair by Pegoud at Junisy".

This is complete in 18 pages, has some small edge tears and is in good condition. This should be handled with care.
