* 2nd Watts Riot
The front page has a nice banner headline: "TWO SLAIN IN NEW WATTS RIOT" with subhead: "25 Hurt as Negro Mobs Roam Streets" with two elated photos. (see) This is not the infamous 1865 Watts riot but a 2nd, less destructive riot about 6 months later. Nice to have in a hometown newspaper.
Incomplete issue containing pages 1-4 & 29-32 only of the 1st section of a 110 page newspaper. A little front page creasing, otherwise good.
