LEOMINSTER DAILY ENTERPRISE, Massachusetts, Aug. 18, 1920

* Nineteenth Amendment ratified
* Women's suffrage wins

This issue has a 3 column headline announcing: "TENNESSEE RATIFIES THE SUFFRAGE AMENDMENT" with the subhead: "Is the Necessary 36th State Placing Women Upon Equal Voting Terms With the Men".
The Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits each state and the federal government from denying any citizen the right to vote based on that citizen's sex. It was ratified on August 18, 1920, the same date as this newspaper, when Tennessee became the final state needed for ratification, marking two-thirds of all states to do so.
Complete in 8 pages, some chipping at the bottom margin affects only ftpg. ads, somewhat irregular at the spine margin, other minor margin tears. Should be handled with care.
