The front page of this issue features a terrific engraving headed: "View Of The City And Port Of San Francisco, California." The engraving measures 6 1/2 by 11 5/8 inches. Very rare to find such an early engraving of San Francisco--where there are just a few houses dotting the hillside--and from the midst of the California Gold Rush.
Complete in 8 pages with various news & ads of the day. The back page has a "Fifty Dollars Reward" for a runaway slave, with a small engraving & much detail (see). Very nice condition.
