Late 1800's Druggist-themed publication...

Item # 630569 THE DRUGGISTS CIRCULAR AND CHEMICAL GAZETTE, New York, NY, March, 1887  This 24 page monthly is exactly as one might expect - a publication pregnant with articles and discussion of interest to druggists from the mid-to-late 1800's. A sampling of the headings include: "Loaded Lime Juice", Gout From Starvation", Staining Tubercle Bacilli", "Tuberculosis and the Bacillus Theory", "Finding Bullets in the Body by Electricity", "Danger of Toast", and my favorite, "A Snake Story" (see images). The issue has some minor wear, but is in overall very good condition.
