The front page has a conspicuous heading, "Green Beret's Family Found Murdered", which is a 1st report of the gruesome murders of Green Beret Jeffrey R MacDonald's family - in a manner similar to the Manson murders. He would eventually be convicted of being the killer - although he still professes his innocence.
