* Mao Tse-Tung, leader of Red China, dies at age 82
The front page has a 3-line, 4-column heading: "MAO TSE-TUNG DIES IN PEKING AT 82; LEADER OF RED CHINA REVOLUTION; CHOICE OF SUCCESSOR IS UNCERTAIN", with subheads: "PARTY IN UNITY PLEA", and, "Political Uncertainty in China", with a photo of Mao. Inside pages contain additional coverage and related photos.
Only the 1st section is present, but is complete in 26 pages. There is fracturing at the mid-fold, much of which has been archivally repaired from the reverse side (see images).
