DAILY NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., June 14, 1842 The front page has an interesting report regarding a judge's rejection of a Jewish Merchant's refusal to be served court papers on the Jewish Sabbath because he (the merchant) conducted business on Saturday's. Also included is a small item related to The Dorr Rebellion (Rhode Island). Inside has a nice report regarding the exploration of the South Seas. News of the day with period advertising throughout. This 4 page newspaper is approximately 18 x 22 inches, has only minimal scattered foxing, and is in overall good condition.
