THE BOSTON INVESTIGATOR, September 22, 1880 Page 3 has two brief, but interesting articles, the first of which contains comments by Thomas Edison in regards to his belief that electrical engines would someday be used to power trains. The second, "Strange Tribe of Jews Discovered In The Caucus", gives some details of the Russian traveler and journalist W.J. Remirowitch-Dantschenk's new book, "Wojinstwujusci Israil", which talks of him "discovering" a new tribe of ancient Jews on the highland of Daghestan who were strickly following the Mosaic law, but were unawares of the building of the second temple. Other news of the day along with period advertising are found throughout.
Complete in 8 pgs., 20 1/2 by 14 inches, very nice condition.
