NILES' WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, Maryland, Sept. 11, 1819  Page 31 has excerpts from the recently published "Declaration of the Independence of Texas," which is in regards to the Adams–Onís Treaty, signed in block type, JAMES LONG, President of the Supreme Council. Other news of the day is found throughout (see images for details).
Complete in 16 pages & measuring 6 1/4 by 9 3/4 inches, in nice condition.
This newspaper began in 1811 and was a prime source for national political news of the first half of the 19th century. As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
