The front page has a great banner headline: "MIDWAY! U.S. VICTORY STORY!" with subheads. (see) Nice for display. More inside with related map and photo of the USS Yorktown. This was the official report from the United States Navy on the famed battle. The battle was actually fought over a month earlier, but the details were just now being released including the news of the USS Yorktown being sunk.
Other, sports and advertisements of the day with much on World War II. Complete in 34 pages, a little irregular along the spine, small address stamp within the masthead, otherwise very nice.
