THE GENTLEMAN'S MAGAZINE London, March, 1763  This issue contains one of the more significant documents of the 18th century, being "The Definitive Treaty of Friendship of Peace between his Britannick Majesty, the Most Christian King, and the King of Spain, Concluded at Paris, the 10th day of Feb., 1763...". Resulting from it, France gives up Nova Scotia, Cape Breton, the St. Lawrence River islands & Canada to the British. France gives to England all her territory east of the Mississippi River except New Orleans. France gets back their Caribbean islands of Guadeloupe, Martinique & St. Lucia. Spain is given back Cuba in return for territory in East & West Florida. This document takes about 5 pages in this issue. This report in an American newspaper would command well over $1000. The issue has a full title/index page with a wood engraving of St. John's Gate, measures about 5 by 8 inches. A significant issue!
NOTE: Some issues contain a fold-out map, however this issue will NOT include the  map or plates shown on the title page..
