THE COUNTRY JOURNAL OR THE CRAFTSMAN, London, March 22, 1734-5.

* Early colony of Georgia settling

Page 2 has an ad: "The successful Progress of the Colony of GEORGIA, & the great advantages likely to accrue from the pursuing that method of establishing regular colonies, hath engaged the Parliament to grant 26,000 pounds for this Year's Charges of supporting & increasing that Colony, whereby the adjoining Colonies are defended." The bkpg. has a fascinating & rather large illustrated ad for "...Richard Rock, Practitioner in Physick and Surgery..." listing his various "talents", which must be read! (see photos). Four pgs., close-trimmed at the bottom of the ftpg. causing partial loss to the bottom line, otherwise in great condition.
