February 27, 1889
THE EVENING SUN, New York, Feb. 27, 1889.

* Early aviation
* Ballooning - Transatlantic flight ?

One-third of the front page is taken up with reports on: "Over The Sea In Air" "Capt. Jovis to Cross the Ocean From New York in His Balloon, L'Atlantique" with other subheads, and a nice illustration of his balloon which he intends to fly across the Atlantic.

Also a print of him and the "Coat of Arms of the Aeronautic Union".

A 4 page issue, some browning at margins & mild wear at the central fold. Generally nice.
