Pages 1-4 are taken up with a fascinating article titled:" A Compleat View of the Controversy concerning the late Act in favour of the Jews", with a portion of the text seen in the photos below.
There are several other articles in this issue with nice content on America, including those titled: "The Natural History of Louisiana" and "Conduct of Our American Governors" and "A Comparative View of Philadelphia, Boston and New York, in a Letter to a Friend" and "A Description of Philadelphia".
There are two full page plates in this issue but neither relates to the mentioned text.
Near the back has most of a column taken up with "Of The Jews Act" which is concerning the Jew Bill (see photos for full text). The plate of Philadelphia is lacking from this issue.
Complete in 48 pages, disbound, full title/index page with an engraving of St. John's Gate, measures 5 by 8 1/2 inches, very nice condition.
