THE BERNALILLO NEWS, New Mexico, October 7, 1881  This is a very rare title from New Mexico over 30 years before statehood. And the content is great, as the entire front page is taken up with much detail on: "Bernalillo" "Her Past, Present & Future" "Her Financial, Agricultural, Industrial, Mining, Stock Raising and Mercantile Interests" "A Few Reasons Why Bernalillians Expect to Yet See Their City Foremost of the Territory".
Today Bernalillo is a town of about 7000 pop. north of Albuquerque.
This is the volume one, number 8 issue and is in great condition, still on high quality rag paper (rare for this era).
