November 19, 1767
THE PENNSYLVANIA GAZETTE, Philadelphia, November 19, 1767

* Once owned by Benjamin Franklin
* Rare 18th century American title

A very nice and famous colonial newspaper, as it was the paper owned by Ben Franklin up until just a few years prior to this date.

The front page had reports from London and New York and several advertisements. Pg. 2 has further reports from Europe as well as Quebec and Boston, the latter being a very lengthy address to the people of Boston at Faneuil Hall.

Page 3 includes reports from Newport, New York, London and Philadelphia and ads as well including two large illustrated ship ads (see). The back page is entire taken up with ads, including 5 large ship ads and a "Six Pounds Reward": for a runaway Irish servant man, and a "Ten Pounds Reward" for two runaway English convict servant men, with details.

Four pages, nice coat-of-arms engraving in the masthead, tiny binding holes at the blank spine margin, great condition.
