Page 3 contains an advertisement concerning deserters from the ship Constitution, signed in type by Isaac Hull, the commander (see). Great item from during the earliest years of Old Ironsides. The balance of the issue is taken up with various news of the day & advertisements which include 10 back page illustrated ship ads. The front page also has coverage of the Commencement at Harvard University, which mentions the presence of the President of the United States.
Complete in 4 pgs. The two pages are loose at the spine. There is foxing around the edges and a small tear in the top margin of the first page (which has been archivally mended). A small piece is missing from the bottom left corner of the first page with minor text loss. The same corner of the second page is torn but with no loss of text. See images for details.
