COLUMBIAN CENTINEL, Boston, Massachusetts, December 31, 1791 Half of the first column on the front page is taken up with an Act of Congress for: "...the Relief of David Cook & Thomas Campbell" which is signed in script type (desired): G. Washington, and in block type by John Adams and Thomas Jefferson (see photos).
The ftpg. also has a biography of "General Washington" taken from a London newspaper. Also, "LaFayette's Resignation" as Commandant General of the National Guard at Paris begins on the front page and concludes on page 2 where it is signed in type: La Fayette (see photos). Page 2 also has various reports form "Congress" headed with an engraving of a heraldic eagle.
Four pages and in excellent condition. A great display item with these 3 noteworthy items on the front page.
