SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, New York, October 17, 1914  The backpage of this issue features a fullpage advertisement for "1879 Edison Day - Oct. 21st 1914" which includes Thomas  Edison standing by two of his lamps, his first lamp and his Mazda lamp. The frontpage is a colored print of an armored military vehicle. Within the issue are: "Our Knowledge of the Planet Mars" "The Electric High School" "Radio-telegraphy at the Eiffel Tower" "Strategic Moves of the War" and other articles and advertisements.

This is complete in 16 pages, has a slight irregular left spine from the binding, otherwise in very good condition.
